I’ve a z32 with black and pink stitching on the shift boot. Seeking to exchange the shift knob for one thing good that matches the black and pink boot. I might prefer it to be from a JDM model or made in Japan one thing genuine that may be a pleasant match.

Beautifully clean Z32! Check out nengun, they import from Japan and have really cool stuff! As for specifics I’m a sucker for the nismo GT shift knob! https://www.nengun.com/interior-shift-knobs/#c:91;g:2
I have Tomei on my 1.5jz z32 and liked it so much I got the same one for my girls silvia.
my grail is the [TRUST GREX shift knob](https://www.ebay.com/itm/275046321254).
Thanks to u/whyzguy123 for the suggestion of keeping the shifter stock. The main reason I wanted to replace the shifter was that the dirty white stitching did not look good with the new black boot with red stitching. It just so happens I am into nerd shit like Warhammer and not so nerd shit like customizing sneakers so I had plenty of good paints and Acrylic leather sealers.
TLDR: Refurbished the OEM black with white stitching shift knob by painting the stitching red and sealing the entire knob with Acrylic paint leather sealer from Angelus I already had.
That’s a BEAUTIFUL z32 the best I’ve probably seen
Correction: black shift boot with red stitching.

Get the lightbulb shaped nismo knob
Nismo White Delrin only
I like the original leather wrapped one.
It’s a chunk of material with threads in it. Don’t make it complicated. Save your money for brand name parts that really make a difference.
If you are worried about burning your hand in the summer, get a delrin knob.
If not, get an aluminum or titanium one.
Brand doesn’t really matter. You are just paying for the logo.
The best shift knob I ever bought was a “burnt” titanium spherical knob off ebay.
It’s been in my FC, NA6 and my ND2.
