Turbo failure / damaged turbo sound on a Twin turbo Nissan Skyline GTR rb26 dett. Entrance turbo failed final week on my Nissan Skyline R32 GTR and I’m attempting to determine why. I shall be testing to turbo oil feed line to verify the oil stream fee. The CHRA failed and now the turbo has tons of shaft play. The compressor wheel has been rubbing towards the compressor housing and has induced floor harm. I drained the engine oil on my rb26dett and there are tons of steel fragments and from the turbo CHRA that drained into the oil pan. I shall be eradicating the turbos to ship them again to be rebuilt. I should purchase a upgraded steel oil filter and blocking the filter bypass in makes an attempt to flush the oil to wash the steel fragments out of the engine.
