The Miata has a dusted engine, as a result of the earlier proprietor determined to not put an airbox on it and go drifting on gravel roads and has physique harm from hitting a deer. I plan on boring it out .060 over and hoping that will get many of the scoring out, cast rods, billet oil pump gears, and ported head if the block machining goes nicely.
The RX-7 was a steal for the costs I’ve seen worse ones going for round me, motor was rebuilt about 20k in the past, in addition to a brand new clutch and shifter rebuild, not dangerous for 221k miles! Presently rebuilding the carburetor and planning to return it to largely manufacturing facility spec, moreover a paint change to Stardust Blue, and presumably RX-8 seats.
